Dakotafest Congressional forum changed to Wednesday
MITCHELL, S.D. – The congressional forum at Dakotafest 2004 has been rescheduled from Aug. 17 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18. U.S. Rep. Stephanie Herseth and challenger Larry Diedrich will be participating in the forum.
After opening comments, each candidate will answer questions concerning agriculture from a media panel and from the audience.
The forum will be held in the yellow and black Forum Tent. The Forum Tent is located on the eastern edge of Dakotafest next to the blue and white SDSU tent. Jerry Warmann, director of the South Dakota State University Cooperative Extension Service, will be the program moderator.
The Dakotafest forums are produced in conjunction with the SDSU Cooperative Extension Services and sponsored by Dakotafest. Other forums scheduled for Dakotafest are the U.S. Senate Forum (10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18) and the New Animal Identification Program including Governor Round's Branded Beef Initiative (10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17).
